What is MGF (Monopoly GO Fun)?

MGF used to be a private tool that was built for a small team of Monopoly GO players back in Jan 2024. The team experimenting with various game-play strategies, to improve our game experience, and that allows the MGF to improve over the time. Now, it is a huge monster that has tons of features (which I did not see people discussing, yet).

What we are making public today, is the minimal / lite version of this monster. (p/s: Carol was one of our experiment's side-product too, which we have only used for a week. But we still make it available online, and hopefully it helps the community)

We have observed the number of "re-rolling" players is getting higher and higher. However, there still a lot of players do not get a chance to learn about this trick. Slowly, they become less competitive, and often upset and failed to get prizes from tournament. So today, we are making it available for you!

How to use it?

(1) Download MGF

1. We will use MGF Discord server as the ONLY official channel to release the tool.
2. Heading to the #get-mgf channel for the latest download link.

(2) Install MGF

1. MGF is built on top of original Monopoly GO. To install MGF, you may be required to uninstall the original version which downloaded from PlayStore. DO REMEMBER TO BACKUP necessary before uninstalling, as you would lost the game data. Make sure you've linked your account to Facebook etc.
2. MGF can be installed in both root / unroot phone or virtual devices such as VPhoneGaGa. There are a lot of tutorials available online so I will skip explaining it again.
3. You might also required to enable the "Install Unknown Apps" setting in your device. Again, please check with Google.
4. After installing the APK, start the game, look for the small MGF icon on top-left of the screen. Click on it, it will be asking for activation code.
   
5. Click on "ACTIVATE" button and key in the following code:

6. Enjoy the tool like the introduction video above after activation.

FAQ - and some grandmother stories

1. Does MGF collect or stealing personal / login credential / data from the user?
• No, NEVER! We share the tool so everyone get to play together, enjoy the game, and we adhere to work ethics as a professional development team. We take security seriously, and do not wish to ruin the game-play experience of any players who have trusted us.
• We avoid collecting anything from you so that we will not be violating any GDPR, PIPL, CCPA, PPDA, or any other data privacy acts. This including Carol, all the records you made were stored in your personal browser, which we have no control over it.
• Immediately after our preview video which published early July, we're accused to steal the players' information. At that moment, the tool was not available to anyone, zero user, zero player, is it even possible for us to commit such unethical action? :meme_thinking: Shame on you for such allegation.
2. Why do we need to activate MGF tool?
• We have been using this as a protection mechanism, to prevent leechers and rats who claim the work belong to them.
• To ensure everyone get an official copy of the tool from us. It is important to download just from one official source, to ensure it is free from malware.
• Each version has a difference activation code.
• We might be open for subscription in the future for add-ons features.
3. Why do we need to check the downloaded file's SHA-256 hashes?
• After you've downloaded the file, open a terminal in your computer, in Windows run `Get-FileHash MGF_vx.x.x_vx.x.x.apk`, and in Mac run `shasum -a 256 /path/to/MGF_vx.x.x_vx.x.x.apk`.
• Check the SHA-256 hashes posted along with the download link in MGF Discord server.
• Make sure both hashes matched. This ensures you are downloading from the official source.
• It is important to download just from our official source, do not let hacker to get a chance modifying the app / adding malware.
4. What's the difference between MGF (Monopoly GO Fun) and MGS (Monopoly Go Script)?
• TLDR; They are currently (almost) the same in terms of features, but MGF win in many aspect.
• First of all, MGF is NOT a clone / copy of MGS! This is the biggest misconception when we first posted the preview video about MGF.
• Read the section above "What is MGF (Monopoly GO Fun)" for MGF's history. As for MGS's history, it was first created by an enthusiastic engineer Rino Puji, back in Dec 2023 IIRC. It becomes an alternative to another tool named "ReRoll" which is the "ancestor" of the APM glitch. After some time, Rino quited the game, and the development of MGS is taking over by HTP team.
• The game itself named "Monopoly", we do not wish to see a single tool monopolise the game play. Therefore, we're taking a step forward, to share our tool!
• If you're still not convinced, let's see what's being bundled in the installation package (APK) itself. We will take v1.25.0 version as per date for comparison.
1. Methodology - MGF only requires single installation. MGS requires two installation, the first is the modded game itself, and the second is the controller that restarts the game.
2. User interface - We are minimalist, we only keep what's required on the screen, and we've tested the arrangement of each configuration so that we can play quicker.
3. Features - Our first release on public contains more features than MGS, that explains all :)
4. Mod files added - in MGF we are minimalist! We only add what's really required, and avoid using any suspicious codes or libraries. We take care our piece of work carefully and do not add the codes that we do not understand.
   
   I hate to say this but a member of MGS team accused MGF for stealing players information, and some players lost their accounts. Depending on the number of unknown files (+464 files) being added by MGS, isn't MGS gain more suspicion in performing such activities?
   
   Rest assured MGF is safe for your account. You are only facing the risk as mentioned in the disclaimer in the top of this page. The risk of violating the fair-game game policy is similar as in using MGS.
